Florence Nightingale, OM, RRC, DStJ (also nicknamed Flo) was an English social reformer and statistician, and the founder of modern nursing. Nightingale came to prominence while serving as a manager and trainer of nurses during the Crimean War, in which she organised care for wounded soldiers.
She does not have an Ordinary People Change the World book to her name, but she appeared in an episode of Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum called I Am Florence Nightingale.
She is voiced by Afrodite Drossos.
As she was born in 1820, she would be approximately 10 years old when the Riddles met her in 1830.
Appearance[]
Florence, as a child, has shiny black hair, which is covered with a white bonnet. She wears a grey dress with white cuffs and a white apron.
Trivia[]
- In her episode, she is depicted as having a mouse for a pet but there isn't any indication of that being the case in real life. In fact she instead had a pet OWL named Athena.
- Her VA, Afrodite Drossos, was nominated for a Nova Star award for her performance as Florence.[1]
