Helen Adams Keller was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deaf-blind person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Brad Meltzer wrote an Ordinary People Change the World book about her called "I Am Helen Keller" in 2015. She appeared in an episode of Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum called I Am Helen Keller.
She is voiced by Claire Waters.
The Riddles specified they arrived in 1887... Anne Sullivan arrived to teach her 8 March 1887 and she learned about water "the following month" (April) so this would be the month the Riddles arrived. This means during the first visit that Helen was actually SIX years (plus ~10 months) old, as it was about 2 months prior to her seventh birthday.
Appearance[]
Helen, as a child, is depicted with fair skin and brown hair tied in a bun. She wears a grey blouse with a red ribbon, a blue skirt, and dark blue flats.
Trivia[]
- Helen has no light in her eyes, unlike the other characters. This is probably to show that she is blind.
- She made a cameo in I Am Alexander Graham Bell. This is based on the real relationship that existed between them.
- Helen also met Mark Twain and Charlie Chaplin but the series hasn't made reference to that.
