Zora Neale Hurston was an American author, anthropologist, and filmmaker. She portrayed racial struggles in the early-20th-century American South and published research on Haitian Vodou. The most popular of her four novels is Their Eyes Were Watching God, published in 1937.
She does not have an Ordinary People Change the World book, but she appeared in an episode of Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum called I Am Zora Neale Hurston.
She is voiced by Shechinah Mpumlwana.
Since she was visited in 1898, she would have been ~6-7 years old when the Riddles met her.
On one early promotional image listing the show's heroes, Zora is depicted with a blue dress, but she actually wears a yellow dress. Around Zora's hat is a yellow band, but in the show, it's pink.
